Halloween! The originally pagan festival celebrated on the 31st of this month. With it's origins in Ireland, the tradition really took off as part of American popular culture late in the 20th century. The festivities take on a similar form, with mask and costume wearing, treats and food to attract or ward off the dead. Instantly recognizable, the orange and black Halloween is a carved pumpkin - known as a Jack-O-Lantern.
AMERICANA LO LUX - HALLOWEEN EDITION
First ever seen in the basketball arenas of the ABA in the 70ies, the Americana is a true classic shape.
This retro version combines high quality suede and aniline leathers.
Completely in black. Leather parts like lacing and stripes come with white contrast sewing. There is a white filigree stitch of the pumpkin plant on the heel and side parts.
Other details are pumpkin-inspired as well. The scary, orange face is made of plastic and grins from the orange/black/yellow-striped laces. The same colours are used for the square design around the ankle area made of textile. This was used for the insole as well.
Black pads inside and on the toe tip. Cool rave elements match luxurious black style!
