Originally introduced as "Tournament" in the 70ies, this basketball sneaker was renamed in the 80ies. Popular since back in the days, when Hip Hop spread allover the world, the Beastie Boys even dedicatd their album cover "Check Your Head"to this cult sneaker in 1992. This was the decade when the sole changed into a Superstar one and the upper was improved as well.
VULCANIZED HABITAT EDITION
Designed by Joe Castrucci of Habitat Skateboarding.
This skate version comes with a brown synthetic upper. The dark brown tongue and heel cap and the beige stripes are made of hemp fabrics.
All materials are of non-animal origin!
Geofit collar and quality lining for ankle support.
The textile side parts are beige and printed with an olive green and brown illustration of a landscape.
White or brown laces.
