This basketball shoe was introduced in 1979 and a pro model. There were a lot of special series and limited edition in various colours for college teams and NBA. The production was stopped in 1983 and continued in 2002. The low version comes with a special padding.
YEAR OF THE BEAR
This limited edition is inspired by the Chinese calendar and dedicated to the Ping Pong Championship.
The classic shape comes in a fresh combination of materials in decent colours.
The sole is white and red. The shoe is covered with light gray jersey completely. Applications for stripes, lacing and toe tip parts are made of white laqueresque plastic. Red laces with a silver buckle that has a stamped pic of table tennis rackets. The adidas emblem on tongue and heel are stitched in red.
The side design is very funny as it combines a circle of Chinese letters and !Year of the Bear" writings with a cartoonlike illustration of a boar wearing a yellow Adidas shirt and holding a racket.
