Puma Clyde Classic "Poison Pack" (red / black / turquoise)
PUMA POISON PACK | POISON DART FROG
2008 is a leap year and symbolized by a frog in China.
The toxic dart frog lives in the rain forests and his skin is covered in lurid colours and patterns that do make any nu raver look pretty pale. It protects itself from enemies, that would try to attack or eat it. The name goes back to the use for the natives, who took it's poison and imbue their arrowheads with the toxic serum. But not all colourful frogs are dangerous; some of them only imitate their conspecific to outsmart predators.
The Puma Poison Pack is inspired by these two events and brings us three colourful Clydes combining shiny, high tech textures and materials with flashy designs. Wildstyle!
PUMA CLYDE CLASSIC | RED DART FROG
Family: Dendrobates pumilio
(or Strawberry frog)
This version of the Puma classic comes in sea green leather with black frog taints. The print imitates the patchy texture perfectly. Additional colour effects are the red, finely grained upper, lacing and heel parts. Remarkable original 70s Clyde logo.
Inside material, laces and the contrast sewing on the shiny, black formstrip are red as well. The inside comes with a rainforest photo print. Frog logo label on the tongue, black dart print on the heel.
It's like a jungle sometimes...
